Tia Lutin, CRNP

TiaMarie, also known as Tia, was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She started her nursing journey at Tuskegee University where she graduated in 2017 with several accolades including Magna Cum Laude, National Society of Success and Leadership (Sigma Alpha Pi), and was the top nursing student of her class. From there, she went directly into cardiac care, working for Huntsville Hospital’s Cardiac PCU.

Not long after, Tia decided that she wanted to further her education and pursued a master’s degree in nursing. In 2022, after 5 years of being a registered nurse, Tia completed her Master’s in Science of Nursing with a specialty of Family Practice. Since that time, Tia has been working with Dr. Balachandran in cardiac medicine. She has also served her community by performing home health evaluations for several insurance companies. Tia always knew that she wanted to be in the medical field as caring for others was a privilege for her, even at a young age. Her passion for medicine only grew as she observed her father being treated for end stage COPD, eventually requiring a double lung transplant. When Tia is not in the office, she enjoys singing, reading, napping, and laughing with family and friends. Healthcare is her passion and each day she looks forward to serving each patient with compassionate and evidence-based care.
